Every Fall, Goodreads users vote on their favourite new reads of the year in the Goodreads Choice Awards, and the kids' categories for 2020 were incredibly stacked. Of the 20 books nominated in the "Best Picture Books" category, Antiracist Baby by Ibram X. Kendi took the top spot; and of the 20 competing in the "Best Middle Grade & Children's" category, The Tower of Nero by Rick Riordan was declared the winner. But all of the nominees are worth checking out!
